UPSC ESE : The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the final results of the Engineering Services Examination (ESE) 2024. Those who took the exam can access the scorecards on the commission’s official website at upsc.gov.in. It is available in a PDF format. Of the 630 candidates who were recommended for the personality test, a total of 206 have made it to the final list.

As per the official notice, Rohit Dhondge has topped the Civil Engineering exam, Munish Kumar in the Mechanical Engineering exam, Rajan Kumar in the Electrical Engineering exam, and Himanshu Thapliyal in the Electronic and Telecom Engineering exam. Meanwhile, the candidature of 43 recommended candidates is provisional, the commission said.

UPSC ESE Final Result 2024: How To Check?

Step 1: Go to UPSC’s official website at upsc.gov.in.

Step 2: Choose the UPSC ESE Final Result 2024 link from the home page.

Step 3: A new PDF file will appear, allowing applicants to view their roll numbers.

Step 4: Download and print a copy of the UPSC ESE Result 2024 for further reference.

Results of four candidates in the E&T Engineering discipline have been withheld, the UPSC has said. “Appointments shall be made strictly in accordance with the extant rules and the number of vacancies available. Allotment of candidates to various Services/Posts shall be made according to ranks obtained and preference of Services expressed by them,” the commission stated in its official notice.

The commission had earlier announced 232 vacancies would be filled up in the organisation through the ESE exam. “The number of vacancies to be filled on the results of the examination is expected to be approximately 232 including 12 vacancies for the Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) (7 vacancies for Locomotor Disability including Leprosy cured, Dwarfism, Acid Attack victims and Muscular Dystrophy and 5 vacancies for Hard of Hearing. The number of vacancies is liable to alteration,” the official notice by UPSC stated.
