UPSC CDS I Final Merit List Released; 590 Candidates Selected
UPSC CDS : The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the CDS I final merit list 2024. A total of 590 candidates have been shortlisted for the Combined Defence Services. Candidates who took exams can check the UPSC CDS 2024 final results on the official website at upsc.gov.in. Of the 590 candidates, 470 have been selected for the men’s course and 120 for the women’s course. The marks of the candidates will be available within 15 days.
“The following are the lists, in order of merit, in respect of 590 (*470 + ^120) candidates who have finally qualified on the basis of the results of the Combined Defence Services Examination (I), 2024 conducted by the Union Public Service Commission and Interviews held by the Services Selection Board of the Ministry of Defence for admission to the (i) *Officers Training Academy, Chennai, for 121st Short Service Commission Course (Men) (NT) (UPSC) and (ii) ^Officers Training Academy, Chennai, 35th Short Service Commission Women (NonTechnical) (UPSC) Course, commencing in April, 2025,” reads the official notice by the commission.

Among men, Ranbir Negi, Archit Chauhan, and Devendra Sharma have secured the top three positions. While Divya, Pranjal Nangare, and Mansi Basera have secured the top three positions among women.

Step 1: Visit the official website of UPSC – upsc.gov.in.
Step 2: On the homepage, click on the UPSC CDS I Final Merit 2024 link
Step 3: Now check your roll numbers and names on the newly opened page
Step 4: Download the page and keep a printout of the same for future reference.
The commission has further notified that the results of the medical examination of candidates have not been taken into account while preparing the final merit list. “The candidature of all the candidates is Provisional. Verification of Date of Birth and Educational Qualification of these Candidates will be done by Army Head Quarter,” UPSC stated.
