UGC NET June 2024: NTA announces re-exam schedule
UGC NET June 2024 : The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the schedule for the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) 2024 for the June session. Candidates can check the schedule from the official website of UGC NET — ugcnet.nta.ac.in. According to the notice, the UGC NET June 2024 exam will be re-conducted between August 21 and September 4 in the Computer Based Test (CBT) mode.
Ten days prior to the exam, the notification regarding the city of the exam center will be posted on the NTA websites ugcnet.nta.ac.in and nta.ac.in.
On June 18, the exam was previously administered in two shifts using pen and paper. The first shift ran from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., while the second shift ran from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
The UGC NET June 2024 purportedly got ‘dropped’ a day after its conduction due to paper spillage charges. The test was directed in 317 urban areas from everywhere India and more than 9 lakhs of competitors partook in it.
For admission to PhD programs, a Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), and appointment as an assistant professor at Indian universities and colleges, the exam is given twice a year.
