SSC GD 2025 Vacancy List Revised; Now 53,690 Posts On Offer

SSC GD 2025 : The Staff Selection Commission, SSC has revised the tentative vacancies of Constable(GD) in CAPFs, SSF, Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles and Sepoy in NCB Examination, 2025. A total of 53,690 posts will be filled through the recruitment drive. Candidates who appeared for the examination can check the SSC GD revised vacancy notification on the official website at ssc.gov.in.

Earlier, SSC had notified a total of 39,481 vacancies for the post of Constable (General Duty) in the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) and the Secretariat Security Force (SSF), Rifleman (GD) in the Assam Rifles, and Sepoy in the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB). This has now been increased to 53,690.

The SSC GD Constable Examination was conducted between February 4 and February 25, 2025. The results are expected to be declared soon. The CBT exam consisted of General Knowledge, English/Hindi Language, Mathematics, and Intelligence and Reasoning sections. Each section comprised 20 objective-type questions. For each correct answer, candidates will get two marks. A penalty of 0.5 marks will be applied for every incorrect answer.

SSC GD Constable Result 2025: Steps To Check

Step 1: Once out, visit the official SSC website: ssc.gov.in.

Step 2: Click on the ‘Results’ section on the homepage.

Step 3:  Click on the link that reads “SSC GD Result 2025: List of Candidates Qualified for PET/PST”

Step 4: Click the link to download the result SSC GD Result PDF.

Step 5: Use Ctrl + F to search for your roll number or name in the PDF.

Step 6: Save the result for future reference.

Next, those who clear the CBT, will have to appear for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET), and Physical Standard Test (PST), followed by a Medical Examination. Details regarding the dates and venues for these tests will be published on the official SSC website soon after the written exam results are announced.
