RRB ALP Recruitment: Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has postponed the start of the application process for Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) Recruitment 2025 for two days. Earlier this process was to start from April 10, 2025, which has later deferred to April 12, 2025. The last date to apply is May 12, 2025.

RRB ALP Recruitment 2025: Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification: Candidates must be class 10th pass and have an ITI certificate in the related trade. Those who have cleared class 10 and have completed three years engineering diploma will also be eligible to apply. All candidates having graduate degree in engineering (in related field) can apply.
Age limit: Candidates who want to apply for the job of Assistant Loco Pilot in Railways, their age limit must be between 18 years to 30 years as on July 1, 2025.
RRB ALP Recruitment 2025: Application Fee
— Application fee for General/OBC candidates is Rs 500 (Rs 400 refundable if appearing in CBT 1)
— Application fee for SC/ST/PwBD/Women/Ex-Servicemen is Rs 250 (Full amount refundable if appearing in CBT 1)
RRB ALP Recruitment 2025: Selection Process
The selection process consist of three stages — CBT or Computer Based Aptitude Test divided into two parts, document verification and medical examination.
The Preliminary Computer Based Test or CBT 1 comprises 75 questions. The exam will be held for a duration of one hour. CBT 2 or the main exam will be held in two parts — Part A will have 100 questions (time given 90 minutes) and Part B will feature 75 questions (time given 60 minutes), from trade subjects. There will be a deduction of one-third of the marks in both CBT 1 and CBT 2 for wrong answers.
RRB has advised the candidates to match their Aadhar details with their class 10th mark sheet. There may be a delay in document verification if there is any error in name or date of birth.
