PM Internship Scheme: Eligibility Criteria
Age: Applicants must be between 21 to 24 years old (as of the application deadline).
Education: From high school graduates to diploma holders, and those with degrees in BA, B.Sc, B.Com, BBA, BCA, etc., are eligible to apply. You can even apply if you’re enrolled in online or distance learning programs.
Income: Your family’s annual income (self, spouse, or parents) should not exceed Rs. 8 lakh.
Job Status: Applicants must not be employed full-time or enrolled in full-time education.
Internship Duration: Internships are for one year (12 months). This opportunity is perfect for those not currently working or studying full-time, as it’s designed to help you gain valuable experience without any other professional commitments.
PM Internship Scheme: Stipend & Benefits
Monthly Stipend: Each intern will receive Rs 5,000 per month for the entire duration of the 12-month internship.
One-time Grant: After joining, a one-time grant of Rs 6,000 will be provided, credited directly to your account.
Insurance Coverage: Interns will receive insurance coverage under the Government of India’s insurance schemes.
