Pariksha Pe Charcha 2025 Episode 5: Sadhguru Tells Students To Unlock Their Unique Intelligence
Pariksha Pe Charcha 2025 : In the fifth episode of Pariksha Pe Charcha 2025, students got a chance to interact with the spiritual leader and founder of the Isha Foundation, Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev, where he advised students not to compare themselves to another person in terms of intelligence.
In a world that often emphasises traditional measures of intelligence, such as academic performance or comparison with others, it’s easy to overlook the true essence of competence. True competence goes beyond mere knowledge or technical skill; it hinges on inner access to the vast potential within oneself.
Sadhguru emphasised that the key to unlocking this potential is not through competition or comparison but by cultivating a dynamic, active intelligence. This form of intelligence, distinct from the conventional definition, allows one to see life in its fullness, enabling unique expression and profound experiences.
Sadhguru said, “If you have to be competent, you need access. To find access, there are many aspects to it. One important thing is you have an active dynamic intelligence. Don’t ever think, am I as intelligent as this person or that person? There is no such thing… “
“Everybody can sparkle and do things that others cannot imagine. The only thing is, because there is no striving, that sparkle doesn’t happen… Intelligence is not about usefulness. Intelligence creates a profound experience in life. The more you activate your intelligence, the more access you have to everything you see,” Sadhguru added.
Sadhguru also encouraged students to break free from this traditional mindset. He said that the way we approach learning has a profound impact on our experience. In his words, “Your textbook is not a challenge for your intelligence, no matter who you are. No matter if you have not done well in school till now, I’m still telling you for your intelligence that textbooks are not a challenge. You’re unnecessarily making it difficult for yourself by approaching it in a certain way. Make your textbook itself into a play. Why can’t you learn playfully? If you make it playful, your textbook is not a challenge.”
