National Teachers Award 2024: Droupadi Murmu To Award 50 Teachers On Sept 5

National Teachers Award : On the occasion of National Teachers’ Day, on September 5, a total of 50 educators from across the country will be given the National Teachers Award 2024. This event will be held at Vigyan Bhavan in New Delhi where President Draupadi Murmu will present the award to the teachers.

The purpose of the National Award to Teachers 2024 in Higher Educational Institutions is to acknowledge the distinctive contributions of some of the finest faculty members in India and honour their efforts in bringing change in the life of students impacting the overall education system. A cash prize of Rs 50,000 along with a silver medal and certificate is bestowed on winners.

Among the 50 teachers, two are from Uttar Pradesh, two teachers from Madhya Pradesh, and two teachers from Bihar. Let’s take a look at the list of teachers who have been selected for the National Teachers Award 2024:

West Bengal — Ashish Kumar Roy, Prashant Kumar Marik

Jammu and Kashmir — Urfana Amin

Uttar Pradesh — Ravikant Dwivedi, Shyam Prakash Maurya
