Meghalaya Police Cancels PET 2024, New Schedule Released
Meghalaya Police : The Meghalaya Police have cancelled the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) for several positions. Applicants who took the PET can view the official announcement on the Meghalaya Police website, megpolice.gov.in.
The official notice reads “This is to inform all the candidates that the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) which was notified vide L/No. PTS/CRB/RECR/2024/418 Dated Shillong, the 07th November 2024, stands “CANCELLED with immediate effect,” due to technical errors encountered during the PET conducted in 1st MLP Bn., Mawiong and 4th MLP Bn., Sohpian.”
A new PET will be conducted for all the applicants, including those who participated in the PET held at the 1st MLP Bn., Mawiong, and 4th MLP Bn., Sohpian, from November 18 to December 21, 2024. A written exam and interview round will be available to candidates who pass the physical efficiency test.
Meghalaya PET 2024: Rescheduled Dates
Below is the schedule of the respective PET centres and exam dates
3rd MLP Bn., Sahbsein, Jowai- 13th December to 20th December
5th MLP Bn., Samanda, Williamnagar and 4th MLP Bn., Sohpian, Nongstoin- 06th January to 11th January 2025
1st MLP Bn., Mawiong, Shillong and 2nd MLP Bn., Goeragre, Tura- 13th January to 15th February 2025
Meghalaya PET 2024 Admit Card
As per the official announcement, candidates who took the PET at 3rd MLP Bn., Sahbsein, Jowai must download their admission cards from the Meghalaya Police website, which will be accessible from December 6, 2024. Candidates’ admit cards for appearing at other PET Centres will be accessible for download from December 16, 2024.
Meghalaya PET 2024: Correction Of Application
Candidates will have the opportunity to modify or correct their information online before the Admit Card is generated, and they should also confirm their information before downloading their Admit Cards. Before the PET begins, candidates who would like to modify the date must kindly submit an application to the Member Secretary of the Central Recruitment Board.
