JTET 2024 Deadline Extended To August 26 After Technical Problems
JTET 2024 : The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) has extended the deadline for online applications for the Jharkhand Teacher Eligibility Test (JTET) 2024. Originally set to close on August 22, the new deadline is now August 26, according to JAC Chairman Anil Mahato. This extension comes in response to technical issues with the JAC portal that prevented candidates from completing their registrations and applications.
Due to the JAC portal’s downtime over the past two days, candidates have encountered significant difficulties. Users reported having trouble receiving one-time passwords (OTPs) on their mobile phones and having trouble completing online registration and form submission processes. The server’s “error 500” messages were received by many candidates, causing widespread dissatisfaction and complaints.
The JAC has decided to extend the application deadline to give all candidates a fair chance to complete their applications in light of these technical issues. The technical issues with the portal are currently being addressed by the JAC team, and enhancements to server capacity are anticipated to be finished by Wednesday evening.
For the first time in eight years, the JTET is being organized. The official announcement for JTET 2024 was made on July 19, and the application period opened on July 23 and ran through August 26. The official JAC website is where candidates can submit their applications online. The JTET 2024 will be led in two levels: Level 1 is for teachers in the primary stage (classes 1 to 5) and Level 2 is for teachers in the upper primary stage (classes 6 to 8). Level 1 will last for two and a half hours, while Level 2 will take three hours. The exam is designed for 10+2 students.
