JKCET 2025 : The Jammu & Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Exam (JKBOPEE) has commenced the registration process for the Jammu and Kashmir Common Entrance Test (JKCET) 2025. As per the official notice, the last date for form submission for admission into BE and BTech courses of the affiliated institutes is March 19, 2025.
Candidates can submit the JKCET 2025 application form by visiting the official website at jkbopee.gov.in. They need to pay an application fee of Rs 1000.
JKCET 2025: Eligibility Criteria
The JKCET exam is only for permanent residents of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh. During the application process, candidates must submit a domicile certificate along with their application. For Ladakh residents, an ST certificate from the appropriate authority is also acceptable as proof of domicile.
To be eligible for the 2025 JKCET, candidates must have successfully completed their class 12 or equivalent examination from a recognized board or university. A minimum aggregate score of 45% with physics, chemistry, and mathematics as compulsory subjects is mandatory. However, candidates from the Open Merit Category, including children of defense personnel, paramilitary forces, and J&K Police personnel, along with those with exceptional sports achievements and those belonging to SC/ST or other socially disadvantaged categories, are eligible for a 5% relaxation in the minimum marks requirement.
JKCET 2025: How To Apply?
Step 1: Log on to the JKCET 2025 official application portal — jkbopee.gov.in
Step 2: Click on the CET Engineering tab on the homepage
Step 3: Fill out the application form with the required details
Step 4: Attach soft copies of the required documents
Step 5: Pay the application fee using online methods like debit/credit cards, net banking or others
Step 6: Submit the form and save the acknowledgment for future use or reference.
