IIT Kanpur : IIT Kanpur’s IITK Foundation for Advanced Consulting, Education and Training (IFACET) has announced a strategic partnership with Bankers Institute of Rural Development (BIRD), Lucknow.

This cooperation expects to improve preparing, examination, and joint drives across a few key regions. Prof. B.V. Phani, IFACET’s Project Director, officially signed the MoU; and BIRD’s joint director, Shefali Agrawal.

Through a multifaceted strategy, the partnership focuses on advancing training and research. Training modules will be created and updated by IFACET and BIRD to keep up with the most recent industry trends and technological advancements. FinTech, AgriTech, climate change and finance, digital agriculture, digital banking, human resource development, the use of AI in banking and finance, and cybersecurity are some of the primary focus areas. According to the institute, this initiative will ensure that the training provided is both current and innovative.

Joint certification programs will be introduced to provide recognized qualifications that enhance professional credentials in addition to the development of training modules. The coordinated effort will likewise incorporate getting sorted out studios and workshops, giving a stage to space specialists and industry experts to examine arising innovations, monetary techniques, and administrative strategy changes.

This joint effort will include preparing projects and staff support using the two foundations’ framework and offices. Organized events will provide opportunities for networking and foster a community of learning and collaboration among industry professionals and IIT alumni.

“The partnership will extend to collaborative studies and research initiatives aimed at addressing challenges and examining opportunities in sectors like banking and finance, microfinance, climate change, digital agriculture, AI and machine learning, the application of AI in banking and finance, and human resource development. The institute stated, “Joint research projects will contribute to innovative solutions and impactful outcomes.”
