IIT JAM 2025 Result To Be Declared Tomorrow

IIT JAM 2025 : IIT Delhi is set to announce the results for IIT JAM 2025 tomorrow, March 18. Candidates can check their scores on the official website, jam2025.iitd.ac.in, once out. “The results will be declared on March 18, 2025 on the JAM 2025 website. For each Test Paper, an All India Rank (AIR) will be assigned to all candidates based on their performance,” reads the official notice. The JAM 2025 scorecards will be available for download from March 24 to July 31.

IIT JAM 2025 Result: Tie-Breaking Criteria

According to the official notice, the tie-breaking criteria will be as follows:

— Lower negative marks, followed by

— NAT marks,

— MSQ marks,

— Score in two marks questions,

— Score in two marks NAT,

— DOB, the older candidate gets better rank.

IIT JAM 2025 Result: Marking Scheme

In Section-A (MCQ), incorrect answers will receive negative marks. One-third of marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer to one-mark questions, and two-thirds of marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer to two-mark questions. In Section B (MSQ), there is no negative or partial marking. Section-C (NAT) also does not have negative markings.

IIT JAM 2025: How To Check?

To check their results, candidates can follow these steps:

Step 1. Visit the official IIT JAM website: jam2025.iitd.ac.in

Step 2. Find the IIT JAM 2025 result link on the homepage

Step 3. Enter your login credentials and submit

Step 4. Your result will be displayed on the screen

Step 5. Download the result and print a copy for future reference.

The IIT JAM examination was conducted on February 2, 2025. The three-hour exam was held in English medium and consisted of 60 questions totaling 100 marks. Divided into three compulsory sections – A, B, and C – the exam covered seven subjects: Mathematics (MA), Biotechnology (BT), Economics (EN), Chemistry (CY), Geology (GG), Mathematical Statistics (MS), and Physics (PH). Candidates who have completed or are in their final year of an undergraduate programme were eligible to apply.
