IIM Sambalpur launches first Fintech-focused MBA degree for working professionals
IIM Sambalpur: Indian Institute of Management Sambalpur (IIM Sambalpur) has started the admission process for MBA in Fintech Management in collaboration with the National Stock Exchange (NSE) Academy in hybrid mode. This is the first Fintech-focused MBA degree to be launched by an IIM, the statement read.
The institute also announced the admissions process for a dual degree program in which students will receive an MBA in International Finance from Sorbonne Business School, Paris.
The course aims to develop strategic capabilities and expertise in cutting-edge technologies by providing working professionals with 17 specialized courses and training in the technical fields of blockchain, artificial intelligence, and cryptography.
The institute has also invited applications from working professionals from Asian and European nations because the course will be offered in a hybrid format. Talks will be conveyed by particular personnel from IIM Sambalpur, NSE Foundation, public and global specialists. After the registration process, candidates will be shortlisted by the Committee in consultation for a personal interview. Among other things, they will be evaluated on their managerial acumen and entrepreneurial mindset.
The personal interview results, the Statement of Purpose (SOP), one’s academic record, one’s professional accomplishments, and other factors will all be taken into consideration when compiling a merit list.
Applicants should pay an application charge of Rs 1,000 to effectively finish the enrollment cycle. The program is partitioned into three semesters and the scholastic charges for the initial two semesters are Rs 3,50,000 each and Rs 3 lakh for the third semester.
