ICAI announces Foundation, Intermediate enrolment cut-off date for September, January exams
ICAI: Institute of Chartered Accountants of India’s Board of Studies has announced the cut-off date for enrollment in Foundation and Intermediate courses for appearing in September 2024 and January 2025 CA exams. The announcement was made as the institute has decided to hold ICAI CA exams thrice in a year in the months of May-June, September and January.
The CA exams for all three courses were given twice a year prior to last year. However, only the CA Final course examination, which will be held twice a year in May and November, will be subject to the institute’s current policy.
According to the new strategy, understudies who have enlisted with the Leading body of Investigations of ICAI for a base time of four months at the very latest the primary day of the assessment month and satisfy the circumstances determined in Guideline 25F will be qualified to show up in the CA Establishment test.
“Students registered with the institute and produces a certificate to the effect that he has undergone a study course for a period of not less than eight months as on the first day of the month in which the examination is held along with other eligibility conditions specified in Regulation 28G can appear in the next eligible exam” is the eligibility requirement for the Intermediate course.
According to the qualification models, the last date for CA Establishment course enrollment for showing up in the September 2024 test is May 1. The enlistment for CA Halfway course for showing up in the January 2025 test is additionally May 1 through the two courses.
“It could be noticed that understudies who have enlisted in Moderate Course either through Establishment Course or Direct Passage Course up to first January 2024 are qualified for showing up in September 2024 Transitional Assessment,” it added.
