FMGE December 2024 Registration Begins Today

FMGE : The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) will begin the registration process for the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) December 2024 session today, October 28. Interested and eligible candidates can apply through the official website- natboard.edu.in. As per the official schedule, the deadline to submit the application form is November 18. The FMGE December 2024 exam will be administered on January 12 next year, at various Centers across the country and the results for the same will be declared by February 12, 2025, as per the official notification.

How to register for the FMGE December 2024 exam? Check these steps:

Step 1: Check the official website atnatboard.edu.in.

Step 2: Upon reaching the homepage, click on the Exams tab.

Step 3: Next, go to the FMGE examination tab and then locate the application link for the December exam 2024.

Step 4: Fill in the application form with all the necessary details and click on submit.

Step 5: Save and take a hard copy of the registration form for future reference.

Candidates who are Indians or have Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) status must have a basic medical degree that has been recognised by the relevant Indian Embassy, before they can be registered as medical doctors in the country where the degree-granting institution is located.

FMGE Exam Pattern

The FMGE December 2024 exam will consist of two parts, each containing 150 questions, making a total of 300 multiple-choice questions.

To pass the exam, candidates will have to achieve a minimum score of 150 out of 300. There is no negative marking for any wrong attempts. As per the official timetable, the authority will issue the hall ticket IDs on January 8, 2025.

The FMGE is a screening test for those seeking a provisional or permanent license to practice medicine in India, which is issued by the Medical Council of India or state medical councils.
