Bihar CHO Recruitment 2024: Registration For 4,500 Posts To End Today
Bihar CHO Recruitment : The State Health Society (SHS), Bihar will conclude the registration process for the recruitment of Community Health Officers (CHO) today, November 21. Candidates still have some time left to apply for the vacancies through the official website, shs.bihar.gov.in. As per schedule, the application process will end at 6 pm today.
According to the official notification, “Shortlisted candidates must serve as CHOs at Health Sub-Centres with the District Health Society (DHS) for a minimum of 18 (eighteen) months from the date of appointment, or pay a recoverable amount equal to 6 (six) months of total remuneration (honorarium) of Rs 2,40,000 (Rupees Two Lakh Forty Thousand only). During these 18 months, no transfer claims will be entertained.”
The recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 4,500 positions including 979 for the Unreserved categories, 245 for the Economically Weaker Section, 1,243 for Scheduled Caste, 55 for Scheduled Tribes, 1,170 for Extremely Backward Class, 640 for Backward Class and 168 for Women of Backward Class.
Bihar CHO Recruitment 2024: Eligibility Criteria
To apply for the vacancies, the minimum age limit is 21 years. However, departmental candidates will receive a maximum age relaxation of 5 years.
The candidate must hold a B.Sc (Nursing) degree.
How to Apply for Bihar CHO Recruitment 2024?
Step 1: Head to the official website of CHO Bihar at shs.bihar.gov.in.
Step 2: Upon reaching the homepage, go to the Human Resources tab and click on the Advertisement Link.
Step 3: Next up, find and click on the CHO Recruitment 2024 link.
Step 4: Generate a User ID and Password.
Step 5: Fill in the application form accurately, upload documents and make the fee payment.
Step 6: Submit the form and take a hard copy of it for future reference.
Bihar CHO Recruitment 2024: Application Fee
To apply, male candidates belonging to the Unreserved, EWS, BC and EBC categories need to pay a fee of Rs 500, while female candidates and those belonging to SC, ST and PwBD categories need to pay Rs 250.
