YASHASVI scheme 2024 : The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has launched the ‘Young Achievers’ Scholarship and Holistic Academic Skills Venture Initiative (YASHASVI) scheme 2024’ today, June 7. The scheme has been launched for Civil, Chemical, Electrical, Electronics, and Mechanical Engineering (CCEEM) degree and diploma students.

The YASHASVI program was launched by TG Sitharam, chairman of AICTE. Vice chairman Abhay Jere and member secretary Rajive Kumar also attended the event.

The YASHASVI plan will help 5,000 understudies yearly, with 2,500 grants for certification understudies and 2,500 for confirmation understudies. For a maximum of four years, degree-seeking students will receive Rs 18,000 annually, while diploma-seeking students will receive Rs 12,000 annually for a maximum of three years. According to AICTE, scholarships will be distributed directly through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).

The YASHASVI scholarship is awarded on merit. Students at the degree level are chosen based on their 12th grade grades, while students at the diploma level are chosen based on their 10th grade grades. Students must submit a letter from their institution’s head and a passing certificate or marksheet in order to renew the scholarship annually.

According to the management, an annual call for applications for the YASHASVI scholarship will be issued via the National Scholarship Portal (NSP).

Sitharam featured the plan’s objective of advancing center designing branches, highlighting their imperative job in the development of assembling businesses. ” The purpose of the YASHASVI initiative is to provide financial assistance to deserving students pursuing technical education in the fundamental engineering fields. This grant means to urge skilled understudies to sign up for common, substance, electrical, electronic, and mechanical designing projects at AICTE-endorsed specialized establishments,” he expressed.
