AIBE 19 : The Bar Council of India (BCI) will soon declare the All India Bar Examination (AIBE) 19 results. Once released, candidates who appeared for the AIBE 19 examination on December 22, 2024 can check the AIBE 19 scorecards on the official website- allindiabarexamination.com.
How To Check AIBE 19 Result 2024?
Step 1: Visit the official website – allindiabarexamination.com.
Step 2: On the homepage click on the ‘AIBE 19 Scorecard’ link
Step 3: A new page will open, enter your login credentials like registration number and password
Step 4: Click on the ‘Submit’ button and your AIBE 19 Result 2024 will appear on the screen.
Step 5: Download the result and take a printout for future reference
The All India Bar Examination (AIBE), sanctioned by the Bar Council of India (BCI) on April 30, 2010, is compulsory for law graduates from the 2009-2010 academic year onward.
Before sitting for the exam, graduates must enrol as advocates under Section 24 of the Advocates Act, 1961. The primary goal of the AIBE is to enhance the quality of the legal profession and is a prerequisite for anyone intending to practice law.
Held twice a year across 50 cities in India, the AIBE is an open-book exam that tests basic legal knowledge and analytical abilities. Candidates who pass receive a Certificate of Practice, permitting them to practice law in any Indian court. The exam consists of multiple-choice questions and lasts three and a half hours.
Candidates are initially enrolled provisionally and must pass the AIBE within two years, although they can attempt the exam multiple times. During this provisional period, they are allowed to practice, with seniority based on their enrolment date.
