UPSC Forest Service Notification Out

UPSC Forest Service : The Union Public Service Commission has released the notification for the Indian Forest Service Examination 2025. The online registration process has begun for the Indian Forest Service 2025 prelims exam. The last date to submit the application form is February 11, 2025.

“In case, the candidate wants to effect any change in his/her OTR Profile (Registration), it shall be allowed only once in the lifetime after the registration at the OTR platform. The change in OTR profile (Registration) data shall be available till the expiry of 07 days from the next day after the closure of the application window of his/her first final application for any Examination of the Commission. In the case, the candidate after registration applies for the first time in this examination, the last date of modification of OTR Profile (Registration) would be 18.02.2025,” reads the official notification.

Indian Forest Service (IFS): Candidates with a Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Zoology, Agriculture, or equivalent subjects are eligible.

All candidates must thoroughly read the official notification before applying.

Application Fee

General, EWS, OBC: Rs 100

SC, ST, Female, PH: No fee

Fee payment can be made through a Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, UPI, or other online payment methods.

Age Limit (As On 1st August 2025)

Minimum Age: 21 years

Maximum Age: 32 years

• Go to the official UPSC website at upsconline.gov.in.
• First-time applicants must register on the One Time Registration (OTR) platform available on the Commission’s website.
• Complete the registration process, which only needs to be done once in a lifetime.
• After completing the OTR registration, proceed to fill out the online application for the examination.
• If already registered, you can directly start filling out the application form.
• Carefully fill out all the required details in the application form.
• Review the application before submission and then submit it online.
