UP: 3rd Khelo India University Games conclude
On Saturday, the third edition of the Khelo India University Games, which took place in four cities in Uttar Pradesh, came to a close in Varanasi. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath stated that such competitions are elevating sports to new heights.

The winning team, Panjab University, which won 69 medals (26 gold, 17 silver, and 26 bronze), was congratulated by the chief minister, Union Sports Minister Anurag Thakur, and other guests. Guru Nanak Dev University of Amritsar came in second with a total of 68 medals, including 24 gold, 27 silver, and 17 bronze, while Jain University of Karnataka came in third with 32 medals, including 16 gold, 10 silver, and 6 bronze.
Adityanath stated, “With their skills and abilities, more than 4,000 players from 108 universities of the country have implemented Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s resolution of “Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat” as well as the “Khelo India” campaign in the last week.” We are all aware that the country’s sports competitions are reaching new heights. The rate of participation and medals won by Indian players have increased over the past nine years, whether at the Sansad Khel Pratispardha or the Khelo India University Games or any other national or international competition.
