Tomorrow, January 23, 2023, the University Grants Commission-National Eligibility Test or UGC NET 2022 registration window will be closed by the National Testing Agency (NTA). The UGC NET 2022 exam application process can be completed on the official website, ugcnet.nta.nic.in, by eligible candidates.
Previously, the application deadline was January 17, 2023. However, the UGC NET December 2022 exam registration deadline has been extended to tomorrow by the NTA. From February 21 to March 10, 2023, the UGC NET December 2022 exam will be held.
The official NTA notice states: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has received a number of requests from candidates to extend the deadline for submitting online applications for the UGC NET in December 2022 because they were unable to upload required documents or pay the application fee because of the high demand on that date.
Therefore, “NTA has decided to extend the last date for submission of online application form for UGC-NET December 2022, enabling the aspiring candidate(s) to apply for the said exam, in continuation to the Public Notice dated the 29th of December 2022 regarding submission of online application form for UGC-NET December 2022 for eligibility for Assistant Professor (AP) and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF).”
