SSC CHSL 2023 final vacancies out; option-cum-preference begins

SSC CHSL 2023: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the final vacancies for the Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) examination 2023. Along with the vacancies, the commission has also released the SSC CHSL 2023 option-cum-preference form. Candidates can submit their post preferences through the official website, ssc.nic.in. The last date to submit the options is February 18, 2024.

“Candidates who took the Tier-II exam are required to submit their Option-cum-Preference(s) for post(s)/department(s) prior to the announcement of the final result. Likewise, all competitors, who have showed up in Level II, are encouraged to present their Choice cum-Inclination for post(s)/department(s) for CHSLE-2023 through their particular ‘Competitor LOGIN’ on the site of SSC (Base camp) i.e., https://ssc.nic.in,wherein a tab for accommodation of Choice cumPreference(s) for post(s)/department(s) will be enacted which will stay dynamic during the period from 13.02.2024 to 18.02.2024,” expressed SSC in an authority notice.

Candidates who fail to exercise their option-cum-preference will not be given another opportunity to submit it, and they will not be considered for inclusion in the final merit list or selection. This information was provided to the commission.

“People with Benchmark Inabilities ( PwBDs) competitors should guarantee that they give inclination just for those posts which are recognized as appropriate for their handicaps. Distribution of posts will be made according to the arrangements of the Notification of Assessment based on ‘merit-cum-inclination of posts’. The candidature of a PwBD competitor will get dropped by the Client Division concerned if he/she gets chosen for a post that isn’t recognized as reasonable for his/her inabilities,” SSC further said.
