PM Modi announces new Central Tribal University in Telangana
Central Tribal University: Ahead of the Telangana Assembly polls, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday announced setting up a Central Tribal University in Telangana, an assurance mentioned in the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act. After launching and inaugurating multiple developmental projects worth more than Rs 13,500 crore in Mahabubnagar district in Telangana, Modi also said the Centre would set up a National Turmeric Board, which would benefit turmeric farmers in Telangana and the country immensely.
“Today, it is important to step up to the plate in a more expert manner overall turmeric esteem chain, from creation to commodity and exploration. The focal government has chosen to set up the Public Turmeric Board in light of a legitimate concern for turmeric ranchers, keeping in view their requirements and their future prospects,” Modi said. The Public Turmeric Board would assist ranchers in the stock with fastening, from esteem expansion to foundation works, he said.
The Focal Ancestral College, to be laid out in Mulugu Locale of Telangana, would be named after ancestral goddesses “Samakka and Sarakka” and the Middle will spend Rs 900 crore on it, he said. Be that as it may, it isn’t clear where the proposed Public Turmeric Barricade will be set. The issues of setting up an ancestral college and a turmeric board have been a bone of dispute between the decision BRS government and the BJP. The foundation of a turmeric board, which was a long forthcoming interest of turmeric ranchers of Nizamabad, turned into a point of convergence during the political race of the beyond two Nizamabad Lok Sabha surveys, with Boss Pastor K Chandrasekhar Rao’s little girl K Kavitha losing to the BJP’s D Arvind in 2019.
