NEET PG 2024: Registration Begins For Special Stray Vacancy Round Tomorrow

NEET PG 2024 : The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has announced a special stray vacancy round for NEET PG 2024 after the reduction of the cut-off percentile. Registration for this special round will begin on March 6, 2025, and candidates can apply online through the official website mcc.nic.in.

The decision to conduct a special stray vacancy round comes after some seats remained vacant due to non-joining or non-reporting by candidates following the initial rounds of counselling. To address this, the NEET PG cut-off percentile has been reduced to the 5th percentile.

NEET PG Special Stray Vacancy Round: Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for this special round, candidates must meet the following criteria:

Candidates who have not been allotted or joined any seat in the previous rounds of NEET PG 2024 counselling, including All India Quota (AIQ), state quota, or deemed universities.

Candidates with a percentile score of 5% or above (for all categories).

Candidates who have already been allotted and joined a seat in previous rounds of AIQ/state counselling or deemed universities are not eligible.

Candidates who were allotted a seat in AIQ round 3 or a stray vacancy round earlier but did not join are not eligible.
