JNU appoints professor Manuradha Chaudhary as new dean of Students
JNU : The Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) has appointed Professor Manuradha Chaudhary as its new Dean of Students (DoS) with effect from October 12, the university said in a notification on Thursday.
Professor Chaudhary will succeed Teacher Sudhir Pratap Singh from the Focal point of Indian Dialects and School of Language Writing and Social Examinations for a time of three years. The arrangement has been made as far as the power vested under Resolution 4(5) and 10(2) to the bad habit chancellor, the warning said.
“The vice-chancellor, as far as the power vested in her under Resolution 4(5) and Rule 10(2) of the Rules of the college has delegated Teacher Manuradha Chaudhary as Dignitary of Understudies for a time of three years w.e.f 12.10.23 bad habit Teacher Sudhir Pratap Singh,” the warning read. An honorarium of Rs 3,500 every month will be paid to Teacher Chaudhary for playing out this extra obligation as Dignitary of Understudies notwithstanding her obligations as Teacher in Focus of Russian Examinations and School of Language Writing and Social Investigations, it said.
