JMI professor awarded National Lalit Kala Akademi Award
National Lalit Kala Award: A guest faculty of the Jamia Millia Islamia, Mahendra Pratap Dinkar, has been conferred the National Lalit Kala Award Akademi 2023. Dinkar teaches at the department of art education in the faculty of fine arts, Jamia Millia Islamia.
His work ‘Nature Equilibrium 2 Medium: Design’ was chosen by the jury for the honor in the 63rd Public Display of Workmanship.
On August 28, the award ceremony took place in Kamani Auditorium. His model is being shown at the Public Display of Expressions in the Exhibitions of Lalit Kala Akademi, Ravendra Bhawan, New Delhi.
Mahendra was an understudy of the branch of figure in the personnel of expressive arts, JMI. His educators and associates communicated bliss on his accomplishment.
Najma Akhtar, Bad habit Chancellor, JMI complimented Mahendra for the accomplishment and wished him best of luck for his future undertakings.
While discussing his craftsmanship, Mahendra said “As a stone carver, I set up my arrangements along these lines. I have arranged my work as a part of a wellspring of nature balance. Where the entire world is playing with nature, because of which many kinds of plagues and catastrophes will influence us all. In my work, I try to convey the nature’s energy as a message.
