Over 1300 job offers have been made to students for IIT Placements 2022 in IIT-Delhi, and more than 1150 students have been selected for the first phase of placement. More than 260 pre-placement offers are included in these job offers.
In the course of the campus placement session that took place up until December 15, the institute had never before received this many job offers.
The placement season will continue until the end of May, and the data released by IIT Delhi indicates that both the number of offers and the number of unique selections are at a record high this year, with over 10% more unique selections during this time than last year.
Students received over 30 international offers from approximately 15 international organizations offering over 20 job profiles in countries such as Hong Kong, Japan, the Netherlands, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, the United Kingdom, and the United States, despite ongoing IT layoffs worldwide.
The majority of job offers have been for technical core students. Some departments, like Computer Science, Mathematics, and Computing, etc., rely heavily on IT and analytics; Numerous businesses that are registering under the “Finance” track are hiring for Fintech positions. Additionally, management studies students chose to work in “Management.”
