IIT Kanpur: Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur in collaboration with Kotak Mahindra Bank to establish India’s first fully integrated school of sustainability at IIT-K – Kotak School of Sustainability.

The launch party featured Dharmendra Pradhan, the education minister of the Union. Secretary of the Indian Government’s Department of Science and Technology (DST), Abhay Karandikar; Nagendra Nath Sinha, secretary, service of steel were the praiseworthy visitors.

According to the institute, institutions can lead climate action, empower communities, and preserve the natural ecosystem through Education, Empowerment, and Engagement (3E). To meet this challenge, the integrated school of sustainability will be established. The financing will be finished through the CSR program with a dream to advance family training, exploration, and effort.

According to the announcement, “Kotak School of Sustainability will have dedicated centres of excellence covering different aspects of sustainability,” such as “clean energy,” “environment,” “ecology,” “circle economy,” “climate finance,” and “sustainable societies and policy.”

The School will offer undergrad (UG) and postgraduate (PG) scholarly and ability building programs in various topics of supportability. ” The School will be housed in a green structure in IITK’s principal grounds that will be platinum-evaluated with net no practices on energy, water, and waste,” the establishment said.
