IGNOU begins registration for post basic nursing programme
IGNOU : The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has commenced the registration for admission to the Post Basic BSc Nursing – BScN(PB) programme. This programme is scheduled to begin in January 2024 and is open to in-service nurses with the requisite qualifications.
IGNOU will lead an entry test on January 7, 2024 and the last date to apply for the program is December 3, 2023.
Candidates should be aware that no paper applications will be considered and that only online applications will be accepted. All enrollments should be finished through the college site.
According to the qualification models, in-administration medical attendants, including enrolled nurture and Enlisted Birthing specialists (RNRM), are qualified to apply in the event that they meet the accompanying rules:
With a three-year Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) and a minimum of two years of professional experience following registration as an RNRM, passed Class 12. In lieu of midwifery, male nurses in the GNM program should have a certificate from a nursing program that lasts six to nine months and is approved by the Indian Nursing Council, or they should have passed Class 10 or an equivalent exam and have a three-year Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) with at least five years of professional experience. In lieu of midwifery, male GNM program nurses should hold a certificate from any 6- to 9-month nursing program approved by the Indian Nursing Council.
