Gujarat Board : The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) has released the academic calendar for the upcoming year. As per the schedule, the classes 10 and 12 board exams 2026 will be conducted from February 26 to March 16, 2026.
The first term exams will be held from June 9 to October 15, 2025. The Diwali holiday will take place from October 16 to November 5 following which the second term will begin on November 6 and continue till May 3, 2026. The summer holiday will start on May 4 and continue until June 7, 2026. The new academic session starts on June 8, 2026. Apart from summer and winter vacations, there will be 15 public and 9 local holidays.
The talent search test for class 9 students will be held on January 28, 2026. The supplementary exams for class 10 and 12 will be held from June 16 to 26. School-level theoretical and practical examinations for class 10 and 12 will take place from January 30 to February 3, 2026, while the class 12 science theoretical and practical exams will be held from February 5 to 13, 2026. The annual school examinations for Class 9 to 11 will be conducted from April 9 to 20, 2026.
For the first-term exams of classes 9 to 12, syllabus taught between June to August will be applicable. While for the second-term exams of classes 9 to 11, 30 per cent of the syllabus taught between June to August and 70 per cent of the syllabus taught between September to December will be included.
Meanwhile, on March 21, the Gujarat Board released the answer keys for the Gujarat Board HSC Exam 2025 of science stream subjects. The HSC and SSC exams were scheduled from February 27 to March 10, 2025. The exams were held from 10 am to 1.15 pm. For classes 12th, the exams concluded on March 13, 2025. The class 12 vocational and arts and commerce stream exams were held in two shifts. The morning shift exam took place from 10:30 AM to 1:45 PM and the second shift from 3 PM to 6:15 PM. GSEB HSC Science stream exams were held in the second shift from 3 PM to 6:30 PM.
