FMGE December 2024 Registration To End Today
FMGE December 2024 : The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) will soon close the registration process for the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) December 2024 session. As per the official notification, the last date to submit the application form is today, November 18. Interested candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can apply for the test through the official website, which is, natboard.edu.in.
It is to be noted that the FMGE December 2024 exam is all set to be administered on January 12 next year, at various centres across the country. The board will release FMGE admit cards on January 8, and the results for the same will be announced by February 12, 2025, the official notification states.
Applicants who are Indians or have Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) status must possess a basic medical degree that has been recognised by the relevant Indian Embassy before they can be registered as medical doctors in the country.
FMGE December 2024: How to Register?
Step 1: Visit the official NBEMS website at natboard.edu.in.
Step 2: Upon reaching the homepage, search for and click on the Exams tab.
Step 3: Then, go to the FMGE examination tab and locate the application link for the December exam 2024.
Step 4: Now, fill in the application form with all the required details and hit the submit button.
Step 5: Pay the application fee of Rs 6,195 to complete the registration process.
Step 6: Once done, save the form and print a hard copy of the same for future reference.
In case a candidate faces any difficulty while applying for the test, such as payment gateway-related issues, refund of failed transactions, etc., they are advised to contact the NBEMS at 7996165333 or its helpline portal, which is accessible through applicant login.
The FMGE December 2024 exam question paper will consist of two parts, containing 300 multiple-choice questions each. Each paper will comprise 150 questions and each session will last for 150 minutes. To qualify for the examination, aspirants will have to achieve a minimum score of 150 out of 300. It is worth noting that there is no negative marking for any wrong answers.
The Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) is a screening test for candidates seeking a provisional or permanent license to practice medicine in India, which is issued by state medical councils or the Medical Council of India.
