CBSE Board opens portal for students with special needs to avail facilities in exam

For students with special needs (CWSN), the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has created an online portal for them to use for the upcoming exams. The instructions to fill out the information for CWSN students taking the board exams in 2023 were sent to all CBSE schools.

The CBSE Board has instructed schools to enter their login ID and password into the Parkisha Sangam portal and select the facility selected by CWSN students in order to use the facility.

Schools will be able to see which facilities and exemptions are available to each disability category of students. According to the CBSE notice, schools will be required to select the exemption or facilities selected by students in order to include the information in the admit card and instruct the center superintendent to make necessary arrangements for it.

Between December 22 and December 30, 2022, schools can fill out the information on the official portal. If CWSN students want to use a facility, the school should fill out the information on the portal.

The notice states, “No such request will be considered offline in the future.” The CBSE Class 10, 12 date sheet for 2023 has not yet been made public by the board. The CBSE Class 10, 12 date sheet for 2023 will be available on the board’s official websites, cbse.gov.in and cbse.nic.in, as soon as it is made available. CBSE board exams for Classes 10, 12, and 13 will begin on February 15, 2023, as announced by the board.
