Bihar Education Board To Reward Class 10 And 12 Toppers With Cash, Laptops On Medha Diwas
Bihar Education Board : Bihar School Examination Board will honour the students who secured the first position in the 2024 board examinations. According to Local 18 Bihar, these students will be awarded a cash prize worth Rs 1 Lakh and a laptop. 75 students from the intermediate (class 12th examination commerce, arts and science) and matriculation sections (class 10th examination) have made it to the toppers list. The meritorious students will be rewarded with these gifts on the Medha Diwas observed on December 3 (the First President of India -Dr Rajendra Prasad)’s birth anniversary. The candidates who made it to the top 10 in Bihar in matriculation are (51) and the top 5 (24) in all three streams of Intermediate education.
The candidates who secured the second position will be paid Rs 75 thousand. The students who finished third will be rewarded with Rs 50 thousand. Along with these, the government will give the students a laptop, Kindle e-book reader, citation and medal. The students who secured 4th to 5th position in the Inter Annual Examination 2024 will be rewarded with Rs 15,000, a citation, a medal and a laptop. The candidates who got 4th to 10th position in the Matriculation Annual Examination 2024 will be felicitated with Rs 10,000 each, a citation, a medal and a laptop.
The district officials like DM (District Magistrate) and DEO (District Educational Officer) who organised the board exams well will also be rewarded. The Bihar Board organises this program every year. With a few days left for the Medha Diwas, the Bihar Board is currently occupied preparing for this program.
When did the Bihar Board Examinations happen?
BSEB Class 12th or Inter exams 2024 were held from February 1 to 12, 2024. Bihar board 10th or Matric exams were held from February 15 to 23. The Inter exams took place in two shifts, from 9:30 am to 12:45 pm and from 2 pm to 5:15 pm. The matric examinations happened in single shifts. The practical examinations for inter-students were held from January 10 to January 20. The internal assessment or the practical examinations for the Matric exam candidates were from January 18 to January 20, 2024.
The Bihar Board Inter result 2024 was announced on March 23. The overall pass percentage was 87.21 per cent.
