Bihar Board Classes 1 to 8 half-yearly exam 2023 dates announced
Bihar Board: The Bihar Education Project Council (BEPC) has released the schedule and rules to conduct the half-term exams of Classes 1 to 8 in government and government-aided schools.
According to the council, on September 20, the Social Science exams for grades 3 through 8 and the Science exams for grades 6 through 8 will be held in morning and evening shifts, respectively; Hindi (Classes 3 to 8) and Sanskrit (Classes 6 to 8) will be led in the first part of the day and night shift, separately, on September 22.
On September 23, educators will hold Hindi or Urdu papers of Classes 1 to 5 in morning movement and Classes 6 to 8 in night shift. On September 25 and 26 educators will lead the English and Maths tests, individually. The student’s co-curricular activities will be evaluated by the teachers on September 24.
Additionally, it has been instructed to the heads of schools that oral tests will be used for the half-yearly evaluation of Class 1 students.
The council had given the go-ahead to set up a committee to make question papers and answer books at the district level, with the district education officer serving as chairman. The district or block office at the level of the complex resource center must provide these question papers and answer booklets by September 15.
From September 16 the inquiry booklets will be given over to the schools. In order to successfully conduct the half-term exam, the council has also instructed the concerned authorities to set up a control room in each district from September 18 to September 26.
