Azim Premji University to set up anonymised raw Census Data Research Workstation
Azim Premji University: Azim Premji University has said a dedicated workstation to facilitate research on anonymised raw census data will be set up on its Bengaluru campus. Azim Premji University and the Directorate of Census Operations, Karnataka, signed a memorandum of understanding in this regard on Friday, the university said in a statement. The MoU was signed by Vijay Kumar S B, Director, Directorate of Census Operations, Karnataka, and Indu Prasad, Vice-Chancellor, Azim Premji University.
“This office will be accessible for all individuals and understudies of Azim Premji College and outside scientists for scholarly purposes. The devoted workstation at the college will furnish work areas with insightful programming and a printing office,” the assertion said. The college said that the scientists might present their proposition to the Server farm, Information Asset Center, Azim Premji College, alongside a solicitation for cross-organization information.
The proposition will be inspected by a council that will settle on the admittance to information. It added that researchers must work on their proposal in the university’s dedicated space.
