Assam Recruitment: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Sunday announced Assam Recruitment that 22,000 posts will be advertised within the next two months in order to recruit one lakh people in government jobs under the present BJP-led regime. At an official function, Sarma distributed appointment letters to 514 candidates of the last Assam Direct Recruitment Examination (ADRE) to fill up vacancies in Class-III and Class-IV posts under various departments. The total number of government jobs offered till date during his term as the chief minister stands at 87,402, Sarma said.

“Advertisements for the hiring of individuals to fill an additional 22,000 positions will be published within a month or two. That will take the complete number of enrollments to well over the 1-lakh guaranteed prior,” he said. The BJP had vowed to give one lakh government occupations in Assam during the battling of the 2021 gathering surveys.
