IIT Bombay Student Bags Rs 2.2 Crore Job Offer As Placement Begins

IIT Bombay : Campus placements began at Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay on Sunday in which more than 40 companies participated.  Among the flood of pre-placement offers this year, Da Vinci Derivatives, a fintech trading company extended an impressive Rs 2.2 crore job offer to a student.

According to officials, numerous students secured exceptional packages this year. Continuing the trend, IIT Bombay students received 258 pre-placement offers (PPOs) this year.

The first day of campus placements at IIT Bombay witnessed enthusiastic participation from several multinational and Indian giants. Notable names included prominent trading firms like WorldQuant and IMC.

Many companies conducted multi-stage interviews to select the best candidates. Students reported receiving better packages compared to the previous placement season. E-commerce giants Ola and Flipkart also participated, extending numerous offers.

The placement season is scheduled to continue until December 15.
