Agniveer Recruitment : The Agniveer Army recruitment rally has been postponed by the Danapur recruitment office, according to the latest notice. As per the reports, the rally was scheduled from December 10 to December 20. Candidates from across the state of Bihar were to appear for the event. Here are all the reports related to the postponement.

According to the recruitment office’s notification on Friday, the new dates for the recruitment rally will be released soon. Male candidates from the regions of Patna, Buxar, Bhojpur, Gopalganj, Saran, Vaishali and Siwan, were expected to appear. Furthermore, only the shortlisted candidates had to join this recruitment process. The reason behind the sudden postponement has not been released to the public yet and the candidates are advised to check the official website daily to keep an eye on the new dates.

The Indian Agniveer Army Recruitment Rally registration was done in March this year. The recruitment aims to recruit male and female candidates between the ages of 17.5 and 21 years for the Indian Armed Forces.

The Agniveer is a scheme organised by the government of India to recruit people for the country’s three armed forces, the Indian Army, Indian Navy and Indian Air Force, for four years. It is a part of the Agnipath Scheme, which was implemented by the government in September 2022. The recruited personnel under the scheme are to be called Agniveers.

In the four-year tenure, the candidates are trained for 6 months and are then deployed for the next 3.5 years. After retirement, the candidates can reapply to continue in the forces but only 25 per cent of the retiring batch is selected for permanent cadre. Those who retire after four years of service will not be given a pension but will receive an amount of approximately Rs 11.7 lakh at the tenure’s end. Every year, around 45,000 to 50,000 new personnel are recruited.
