UPSSSC Invites Applications To Recruit 5,272 Female Health Workers

UPSSSC : The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has announced the recruitment of 5,272 positions for Female Health Workers (Auxiliary Nurse Midwife or ANM). Among these, 4,892 vacancies are for Female Health Workers under General Selection, and 380 are for Special Selection. Interested candidates must apply online via the commission’s official website. The application process will begin on October 28, 2024, with the final date for submissions set for November 27, 2024.

Applicants must have completed a two-year Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery (ANM) programme from a government-recognised institution in India.

Candidates are required to have passed the Preliminary Eligibility Test 2023, conducted by the Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission.

The age of the applicant must be between 18 and 40 years as of July 1, 2024.

There is an age relaxation policy, allowing an additional three years for OBC candidates and five years for SC/ST candidates.

Qualifications for ANM Recruitment 2024:

Candidates must have completed class 12 and then successfully finished a one-and-a-half to two-year Auxiliary Nursing and Midwifery (ANM) course, which includes six months of practical training in obstetrics. Additionally, applicants must be registered with the UP Nursing and Midwifery Council in Lucknow. Furthermore, candidates must possess the scorecard for the UPSSSC Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET) 2023 to be considered for recruitment.

The exam pattern for the recruitment of Female Health Workers under the UP Directorate General of Family Welfare has been announced.

Marking Scheme:

– 1 mark awarded for each correct answer
