Railway Recruitment 2024: Applications For Apprenticeship Begin Today

Railway Recruitment 2024 : Northern Railways is inviting applications for apprenticeship under the Apprentices Act 1961 for imparting training at various divisions, units and workshops. Eligible candidates can apply through the official website of Northern Railways – https://www.rrcnr.org/. The application forms are available on the website starting today, August 16. Interested candidates can apply before September 16. The 10th-pass candidates can apply for the apprenticeship, following which they can be selected in different divisions of Northern Railways. Recruitment for apprenticeship in Northern Railway will be based on merit. It will take the marks obtained by the candidate in Class 10 and ITI. The final merit list will be released in November.

Northern Railways Apprenticeship: How to Apply

Step 1: Visit the official website of Railway Recruitment Cell, Northern Railway–https://www.rrcnr.org/

Step 2: On the homepage, click on the recruitment link

Step 3: Register yourself with your basic contact information

Step 4: Access the application form with your registered ID and password

Step 5: Fill out the application form with the necessary details

Step 6: Upload the required documents

Step 7: Pay the application fee

Step 8: Submit and download the application form.

The application fee for apprenticeship recruitment is Rs 100. For SC/ST, women and disabled candidates, the application form is free of cost. Candidates should have passed 10th with 50 percent marks. ITI certificate is also compulsory. To become eligible for the apprenticeship, the age of the candidates should be above 15 years and below 24 years. Candidates of reserved category will get relaxation in the maximum age limit, as per the rules. SC and ST will be eligible for five years of age relaxation, whereas OBC category candidates will get three years of relaxation. No written test or viva will be held for the selection. The candidates will be selected based on marks in ITI and Class 10. It will be followed by document verification and medical examination. Candidates are requested to not provide fake information about their marks. If found, then it can lead to the rejection of the application form.
