GAT-B, BET registrations end today

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will be shutting the applications for the Alumni Fitness Test-Biotechnology GAT-B, BET and GAT-Biotechnology Qualification Test (BET) 2023. On April 23, 2023, applicants can submit applications for the biotechnology examinations via the official websites dbt.nta.ac.in or nta.ac.in.

The GAT-B and GAT-BET exams will be given in separate shifts for a total of three hours. Candidates for the GAT-B exam will take part in the first shift, which will run from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.; those who have registered for the GAT-BET exam will need to attend the second shift, which will run from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
GAT-B exam eligibility in 2023: Candidates for MTech programs must have a BTech or BE degree with an aggregate of at least 55% (SC, ST, and PwD) or 60% (general, EWS, and OBC).

In order to be admitted to MSc programs, applicants must have graduated from a reputable university with a minimum of 60% (general, EWS, and OBC) or 55% (SC, ST, and PwD) aggregate in their chosen field.
Candidates must hold a B.V.Sc. in order to meet the M.VSc Animal Biotechnology program’s GAT-B 2023 eligibility requirements. and an A.H. degree or equivalent with at least 60% marks. 50% of the candidates must be from the reserved categories (SC/ST).

GAT-B and GAT-BET is held for admission to division of biotechnology upheld postgraduate (PG) program in Biotechnology and united regions in taking part Organizations (GAT-B) and for grant of DBT – Junior Exploration Association (DBT-JRF) for chasing after research in wilderness areas of Biotechnology (BET). Computer-based testing (CBT) will be used for the exam, and the question paper will be written in English.
