UGC NET December Result 2024 Announced

UGC NET : The National Testing Agency (NTA) declared the UGC NET December 2024 results on February 22, 2025. Candidates who have appeared for this exam can check their scorecards along with the final answer key by visiting the official website of UGC NET at ugcnet.nta.ac.in. The agency has also announced the cutoff marks. A total of 849166 students registered for the exam, of which 649490 appeared for it.

UGC NET December Result 2024: Marks Needed To Pass Exam

To qualify for the UGC NET exam, candidates need to score above 40 per cent in both Paper 1 and Paper 2. The cut-off marks determine eligibility for the exam. The exam uses a specific method to determine percentile scores, aiming for fairness in ranking candidates. The percentile is calculated by dividing the number of candidates with a raw score equal to or less than 100 by the total number of candidates in that session. To ensure accuracy and minimize ties, these percentiles are calculated to seven decimal places.
