SSC CGL : The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is expected to release the provisional answer key for the SSC Combined Graduate Level Examination (SSC CGL) 2024 Tier 1 shortly. Once available, candidates who appeared for the exam can download the answer key from the official website, ssc.gov.in.

The exam, which was held between September 9 and 26, 2024, consisted of a total of 100 questions. For every right answer, the candidates will be awarded two marks, while 0.50 marks will be deducted for any wrong attempts. The SSC CGL tier 1 exam was administered in computer-based test (CBT) mode and consisted of objective type, multiple-choice questions set both in English and Hindi except for English comprehension.

How to download the SSC CGL Tier 1 Answer Key 2024? Follow these steps:

Step 1: Visit the official website of the SSC at ssc.gov.in.

Step 2: Upon reaching the homepage, look for the SSC CGL Tier 1 Answer Key link and click on it.

Step 3: The answer key will be opened on the screen in PDF format.

Step 4: Match your answers with your response sheet.

Step 5: Take a printout of the answer key for future reference.

After the provisional answer key is released, the applicants will be given a time period to raise their objections by paying a fee of Rs 100 per question through the official website. Challenges received through any other mode including letter, application, or email, will not be accepted, the SSC has said. Thereafter, the SSC answer key objections will be examined by experts before generating the final answer key and results. Shortlisted candidates will be eligible to appear for the SSC CGL Tier 2 examination which is scheduled to be held in December 2024.

The exam is administered to fill up various Group B and Group C posts in different ministries, departments and organisations under the Government of India. The Combined Graduate Level Examination (CGL) 2024 is being conducted for 17,727 vacancies in different Government departments.
