SSC CGL 2024 Tier 1 Results Likely By November 2nd Week
SSC CGL 2024 : The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is expected to declare the results for the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Tier 1 exam in the first or second week of November 2024. The Candidates who qualify for the SSC CGL Tier 1 exam will be qualified to appear in the next stage ie- SSC CGL Tier 2 exam. Currently, the date of the SSC CGL Tier 2 exam has not been declared yet.
The date of the Tier 2 exam can be announced only after the declaration of the SSC CGL Tier 1 result. There were 4 main topics in the Tier 1 exam, ie-General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude and English Comprehension. All the updates related to the result can be checked on the official website of the Staff Selection Commission, ie- ssc.gov.in.
After the results are published, the students will be able to view them on the official website, ssc.gov.in. They will be required to enter their roll numbers as indicated on their admit cards. The Tier 1 SSC CGL examination was conducted from September 9 to September 26. The provisional answer keys were released on October 4. Candidates had the opportunity to raise objections to the tentative answer key till October 8.
Steps To Check SSC CGL Result 2024:
Step 1: Click on the official SSC website at ssc.gov.in.
Step 2: On the homepage, click on the link titled SSC CGL Tier 1 Result 2024 (once it is declared).
Step 3: A new page will show on the screen.
Step 4: Enter the required information and click on the submit button.
Step 5: Your result will be shown on the screen.
Step 6: Download your result and take out a printout of a copy for future reference.
Criteria To Pass SSC CGL Result 2024:
To clear the exam, candidates belonging to the unreserved category must secure a minimum of 30 per cent. Participants from the OBC (Other Backward Classes) and EWS (Economically Weaker Section) categories need to obtain at least 25 per cent. On the other hand, the passing mark for candidates from all other categories is established at 20 per cent.
Selected candidates will be assigned to a range of Group B and Group C positions. These positions are there across various ministries, departments, and organizations within the Government of India.
