Samsung India to hire 1,000 engineers from IITs
For its R&D institutes all over India, Samsung India intends to hire approximately 1,000 engineers. The electronics company will be hiring for a number of branches across the country, including Samsung Semiconductor India Research in Bengaluru, Samsung R&D Institute Bangalore, Samsung R&D Institute Noida, and Samsung R&D Institute Delhi.
Samsung R&D centers will employ approximately 200 engineers from prestigious IITs, including IIT Madras, IIT Delhi, IIT Hyderabad, IIT Bombay, IIT Roorkee, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Kanpur, IIT Guwahati, and IIT BHU, among others, as part of this initiative. Additionally, they have provided over 400 Pre Placement Offers (PPOs) to IIT and other prestigious students.
The hiring will take place across a variety of streams, including Computer Science and related fields (AI/ML, Computer Vision, VLSI, etc.). Software engineering, electronics, instrumentation, embedded systems, and communication networks are all areas of information technology.
From 2023 on, the new hires will start their jobs. The Internet of Things (IoT), connectivity, cloud, big data, business intelligence, predictive analysis, communication networks, system on a chip (SoC), and storage solutions are just a few of the cutting-edge technologies on which they will be working.

These individuals will work on breakthrough innovations, technologies, products, and designs, including India-centric innovations, that enhance people’s lives. The Head of Human Resources at Samsung India, Sameer Wadhawan, stated, “This will advance our vision of Powering Digital India.”
