Punjab Police Constable Recruitment 2025: Registration Begins For 1746 Vacancies

Punjab Police : The Punjab Police has commenced the registration process for the recruitment of Constables in both the District Police Cadre and the Armed Police Cadre. Candidates who have cleared class 12 exams or equivalent are eligible to apply for posts through the official website at punjabpolice.gov.in. The last date to register is March 13, 2025.

The Punjab Police Constable recruitment exam will fill 1,746 vacancies. Of those, 1,261 positions are for District Police Cadre Constables, and 485 are for Armed Police Cadre Constables. Candidates selected for the posts will receive a salary of Rs 19,900 per month.

Punjab Police Constable Recruitment 2025: Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification: Candidates must have completed class 12 from a recognised board or university. Ex-servicemen, however, are eligible with class 10 as their minimum qualification. All candidates must have studied Punjabi in class 10 or possess an equivalent qualification recognised by the Punjab government.

Age Limit: The age of applicants must be between 18 to 28 years.

Physical Standards: Male Candidates must be at least 5 feet 7 inches (170.2 cm) and female Candidates must be at least 5 feet 2 inches (157.5 cm).

Punjab Police Recruitment 2025: Steps To Apply

Step 1: Visit the official Punjab Police website at punjabpolice.gov.in

Step 2: Register with a valid email ID and mobile number to create an account.

Step 3: Fill out the application form with accurate personal and educational details.

Step 4: Upload the required documents, including educational certificates, identity proof, and photographs, as per the given guidelines.

Step 5: Pay the application fee online using the available payment methods.

Punjab Police Recruitment 2025: Selection Process

The selection process is divided into three stages. Stage 1 comprises two Computer Based Tests (CBT): Paper-I and Paper-II. Both papers will have multiple-choice questions (MCQ) with Paper II acting as a qualifying exam. Stage 2 consists of the Physical Screening Test (PST) and the Physical Measurement Test (PMT). Both these tests are qualifying in nature. Stage 3, the final stage, involves Document Scrutiny.
