President awards degrees to student at Nagpur University

Nagpur University: President Droupadi Murmu awarded degrees to the students during the 111th convocation of Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University at Nagpur on December 2.

The President commended faculty members at Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University for their efforts in technology, innovation, and research. She mentioned that the Indian Patent Office has granted over 60 patents to university faculty members.

She urged the faculty and students to concentrate on research and innovation, paying close attention to local issues and requirements, and to put these innovations into action. The university claimed to have an incubation center to foster a culture of start-ups among students.

The entire world is now a global village. No organization can stay cut off from the world,” she added. She urged the university to encourage international collaboration and studies across disciplines. We can meet the challenges facing the world only by sharing new ideas and research with one another,” the President continued.
