Panjab University cancels Jhankar 2023 fest amid high alert
The Jhankar festival that was scheduled to take place between March 20 and 22, 2023, has been postponed by Panjab University (PUCHD) Chandigarh due to high alert and security concerns in Chandigarh and Punjab.
According to a letter from the Dean of Student Welfare, all Jhankaar festival events scheduled for March 20-22 have been postponed until further notice due to high alert in Chandigarh and Punjab. The administration has made the decision in light of the security concerns. The new fest dates will be announced soon by the university.
