NEET PG Counselling 2022: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has blazoned a special stray vacancy round for the National Eligibility Entrance Test for Postgraduate (NEET PG) counselling 2022. MCC has also released the schedule for the extra round of NEET PG 2022 counselling. According to the sanctioned schedule, payment of the security deposit will commence on January 6, 2023. MCC’s decision comes after campaigners demanded a special round since several clinical seats remained vacant post the last round of comforting.

“As per the approval accorded by MoHFW (F.No.U- 12021/ 05/ 2022- MEC) Medical Counselling Committee of DGHS will conduct a Special Stray Vacancy Round for the vacant PG (M.D/M.S/ Parchment/ PG DNB/ MDS) Seats of All India Quota/ Central University/ Central Institute/ DeemedUniversity/ PG DNB in an online mode,” read MCC’s latest announcement.

“For ensuring faithful obedience to time schedule and also keeping in view the limited time available for conducting comforting. All sharing institutes/ sodalities are directed to treat all Saturdays and Sundays as working days,” the MCC announcement added.
